The Trekkas Photo Gallery 2

The first 3 photos, jpg 7 (above), jpg 8, and jpg 9 (below) were taken in Potters Bar in a garage turned into a studio. The photographer was the local chemist from Welham Green. Unfortunately his name, like his pharmacy, has disappeared. The band were instructed to "do a moody"...and that's what you've got!

Photo JPG 10 was taken at the East Herts Beat Competition held in St. Albans where, to our  everlasting shame and humiliation, we were beaten by 1/2 a point, yes, that's 1/2, a point by the Cortinas from Hatfield. I don't know about their playing, but they never looked as cool as we did!

The last and slightly damaged photograph shows the final version of The Trekkas which featured the twinkling fingers of Angela Penketh. The picture was taken when we won 1st Prize at the International Hatstand competition in Las Vegas! (Only joking). The line up from left to right is Martyn Day, Mick Simmons, Angela Penketh, Ron Baird, Mick Casey and Ken Caylor.
